Pictures: Holly Creek Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The City of Oakley celebrated the completion of the Holly Creek Park Phase II improvements today with a ribbon cutting ceremony in front of 20 people on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Local residents joined Mayor Kevin Romick, Vice Mayor Carol Rios and councilmembers Pat Anderson and Jim Frazier—Randy Pope was absent. City staff included City Manager Bryan Montgomery and his assistant, Nancy Marquez.

The Phase II improvements included:

  • The addition of a concrete pathway
  • The conversion of 4 acre storm basin to a grass play area
  • Patching of the walking trail
  • Gabion & retaining walls
